Our Staff Spotlight section aims to highlight one staff member who has gone above and beyond in their role with My Support Worker. Winter's winner is Bernie and this is her experience in her words:
"I was employed by My Support in August 2022, and 12 months later, I was promoted to a senior role with one of my clients. I was truly honoured and delighted to be offered this position, as it's such a great opportunity and I'm grateful for the confidence in my abilities. Thank you for your support My Support Worker."

The reason why we chose Bernie for the ‘Staff Spotlight’ is because as well as being
supportive, caring and hard-working, Bernie has recently achieved some great work in
supporting her client in fostering a positive relationship with a family member. Bernie
explained she feels her calm approach with the client’s family member really helps to
create an environment in which the client and family member can get along without
arguing. Bernie is rightly proud of her work in this area and it has made a positive impact
upon the client’s life. This year Bernie has also been promoted to a Senior Personal
Assistant and her client is blown away by how she has stepped into this role and is
managing almost every aspect of the client’s life.
