When I left university, I applied for a range of jobs and was offered a support worker/personal assistant role and set me on a career path I hadn’t in any way expected. Within 2 years, I became a Senior Support Worker. Within 10 years I was Service Manager and part of My Support’s Leadership Team. There are so many opportunities in social care but the experience of supporting people to live their best lives, to spend your time with people who need you and enjoy being with you and who make life fun and meaningful, it's the best job in the world!
