Registered Manager's Update

Updated: Sep 21, 2023

Hello and welcome to our brand-new website.

As we reach the summer following some difficult times for everyone around the world recovering from the Global pandemic, conflict in Eastern Europe and increasing fuel prices and the cost of Living Crisis, our staff continue to do what they do best, caring for vulnerable individuals within the Community, triumphing throughout adversity and truly allowing our service users to Live the life they want. We are extremely fortunate to have excellent dedicated staff across all our boroughs and we thank you all for your support, loyalty and sheer hard work on behalf of My Support Worker.

It is with this support and hard work in mind that we have spent recent months negotiating with senior managers and the NHS and suc

cessfully secured the biggest wage increase for our staff ever.

Our business is going from strength to strength and we continue to grow; we now have over 70 staff members and over 20 clients. In recent months we have appointed a new manager in the office, Guy Oliver. He is responsible for operations, development, and quality of our service. We have also taken on a Clinical Lead, Tracey Hayes. Tracey is a registered nurse who has many years of experience under her belt, enabling us to provide safe and personalised care for people with more complex healthcare needs.

Thanks to all staff for completing their training at the start of the year, keep on the look out at the start of each month for email reminders of training that will expire.

Make sure you look at page 5 for a quick feedback form to complete for both service users and staff. Everyone who enters will be put into a draw for a £50 amazon voucher.

Sincerely,

Sue Marcroft

Director & Registered Manager
